The HCAP Transfer Pipeline Program provides peer mentorship and support to new transfer students at Hunter College. This program is supported by the Hunter College AANAPISI Project (HCAP). HCAP programming is open to students of ALL identities and backgrounds.
Through the HCAP Transfer Pipeline Program students can expect to:
- Reflect and share how their own identities influence their experiences in college.
- Identify and access Hunter’s network of resources.
- Feel connected to a larger support community of fellow transfer students and peer mentors to increase their sense of belonging at Hunter College.
Transfer Peer Mentors receive hands-on leadership coaching and skills training to become peer mentors who can assist incoming transfer students in navigating their Hunter experience. Learn more about our past Transfer Peer Mentors by visiting our cohort page.
Transfer Mentees are matched with a peer mentor and receive support as a new transfer student at Hunter College.
