Panelist Bios:

Amy Chou: Amy Chou has over a decade of experience in social justice philanthropy, nonprofit management, and advocacy with expertise in project management, grantmaking, and capacity building. She is currently an independent consultant and strategist working with communities who are advancing transformational social change. Amy received her Master’s in Public Administration with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University and her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University.

Nimra Chowdhry: Nimra Chowdhry is the State Legislative Fellow at the Center for Reproductive Rights. Prior to her work at the Center, Nimra was a Policy Analyst and Senior If/When/How Fellow with Advocates for Youth where her work focused on Reproductive Justice for Muslim and immigrant youth. Nimra’s experience includes time at the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum. A proud Pakistani-Texan, Nimra holds a JD and a Master’s Certificate in Women and Gender Studies (WGS) from the University of Houston and a BA in Government and WGS from the University of Texas at Austin.

Doris Lo: Doris is a program manager at Morningside Center for Teaching Social Responsibility, a longstanding nonprofit organization that partners with teachers to create caring and equitable school communities. She is passionate about promoting racial equity, cultural competency, and emotional understanding through education. She holds a Masters degree in Childhood Education from Hunter College, and B.A.s in Environmental Studies and Classical Studies from Union College.
