Welcome to the HCAP Website!

The Hunter College AANAPISI Project (HCAP) is a program based at Hunter College that helps students navigate and succeed in college. We serve all students at Hunter, with a specific focus on Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students and those who are first in their family to go to college, from immigrant families, and/or who are multilingual learners.

We invite you to explore our new website! We created this website so more students, faculty, and staff can learn more about HCAP.

Feel free to peruse the site find out more HCAP programs and how to get involved. You can also learn about our HCAP student leaders, explore useful resources, and connect with us.

We will be updating our News Blog throughout the year. We’ll have a series of blog posts focused on mental health topics and resources written by HCAP staff, students and partner contributors. You can also read our “Ask Lucky” blog series, which answers questions that Hunter College students often have about academic writing and reading, speaking/presenting in class, and conducting research.

See our Events Calendar with more exciting events, student stories, and resources. Check back for the latest and don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter!

We look forward to building community with you!

Very best,

The HCAP Team
