Apply by 12/29: Free Summer Seminar: Online Interviewing As An Asian American
December 29, 2021
Online interviewing is an increasingly common practice for jobs, internships, and admissions to graduate/professional programs. In this online series, students will explore stereotypes about Asian Americans in the workplace, learn and practice strategies for online interviewing, and receive feedback from mock interviews.
There are 4 online workshops and 2 mock interviews that are scheduled individually pre- and post-workshops.You must participate in ALL workshops and mock interviews.
Workshops meet online on Tuesdays and Fridays, 1/4, 1/7, 1/11, 1/14, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM.
Apply at bit.ly/winterinterview22 with your resume by Dec 29. If accepted to the seminar, you will receive instructions about the first mock interview, which will be scheduled on the week before the first workshop. The second mock interview is scheduled on the week after the last workshop.
Class is capped at 20 students, but there will be a waitlist. This seminar will prioritize applicants who are current Hunter/BMCC students and then recent graduates (graduated fall 2021).
