DESCRIPTION:Eligibility\nStudents must have completed ENG 120 and preferably 1-2 Asian American Studies courses (ie: ASIAN 210\, ASIAN 230 or another ASIAN course) \nAre you interested in: \n\nGaining practical experience at an Asian American community-based organization?\nExploring work in: advocacy\, cultural arts\, mental health\, immigrant rights\, gender equity\, and youth development?\nBuilding your leadership skills\, furthering your professional development\, and gaining exposure to a range of career pathways?\n\nProgram Description\nA semester-long course (ASIAN 29000)\, taken for 3 credits (1 semester) or 6 credits (2 semesters)\nA 10-15 hour/week internship.
