The AANAPISI Bridge Initiative (ABI) is a partnership between Borough of Manhattan Community College and Hunter College that provides student programs and faculty development to support the diverse needs of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) and other high-need at BMCC and Hunter, with a focus on those who are immigrant students, first-generation college students, and English Language Learners (ELL).
ABI is funded through a five-year collaborative grant (2020-2025) from the U.S. Department of Education’s Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI) program.
